There are a variety of convertible cribs on the market, by different manufacturers. The following is a description of the crib convertibles available:

2-in-1 Crib converts from a crib to a full-size bed.

3-in-1 converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a daybed.

4-in-1 converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a daybed to a full bed.  

5-in-1 converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a daybed to a sofa (daybed with pillows) to a full bed with or without a headboard and footboard.

Convertible Strollers

Convertible strollers convert from a single to a double or to, depending on the manufacturer, a triple stroller.

 

Convertibles are not the same as Travel Systems

Do not confuse a convertible baby product with a travel system.  They are different products and offer different advantages depending on your preference.  Travel systems will be discussed in a separate article.
