Love, Attention, and Affection
Cuddling, touching, smiling, encouraging, and playing with your baby shows them the love, affection, and attention they need to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. Holding them is important. Besides the bonding that occurs when you hold your baby, it also helps them develop social stimulation and social skills.
We know that sleep and food are necessary for a child's development and well-being. Likewise, love and attention to their emotions and feelings are a critical part of their healthy and fulfilled growth.
A warm, loving, affectionate, and secure relationship between parent and child lets the baby know the parent will be there for them as they develop and helps build their feelings of confidence as well as an ability to self-handle stress.
Giving love, attention, and affection to a child yields beautiful results.
